2022 at Alchemy VA has been A RIDE!

A magnificent, life-affirming, sometimes stressful, but utterly incredible trip - and we’re not stopping.
And I’m sure everyone is saying this, but how are we nearly at the end of the year?!

As a collective, we have continued to build our dream. With Suzy on maternity leave and coach training this year, myself at the helm and our fabulous franchisees providing impeccable quality, choice, and freedom for their clients (and themselves), we have had an incredible year.
So, with only a couple of weeks left, let’s look at some stats…
we've supported over 150 incredible clients this year, with many more preparing to come onboard for 2023
well over 7500 hours across a vast range of services have been delivered to our clients, tailored to their specific needs. A whopping increase compared to 2021!
70 trees have been planted in the Scottish Highlands as part of our sustainability pledge
17 phenomenal Alchemy VA family members are working across the UK and counting! We've got a a lot of various opportunities opening up in 2023 so get in touch!
the average monthly turnover for our franchisees is circa £4,000 with a 20% projected uplift for 2023
a new record was set this year when one of our franchisees recorded £15,000+ in one month with retained clients!
We also had the pleasure of working with the University of Northampton this year, partnering to support small businesses across Northamptonshire with the Knowledge Exchange for Better Business programme (KE4BB).
Believed to be one of the first of its kind in the UK offering fully funded Virtual Assistant support, the programme focuses on improving productivity and competitiveness and providing innovative practices for small businesses through a tailored menu of knowledge exchange activities - of which Alchemy VA played a significant role. We delivered hundreds of hours to many Northamptonshire businesses as part of the programme with great success and excellent case studies as a result - watch this space for those case studies early in the new year!
By helping these brilliant businesses and opening up their outsourcing opportunities to see what Virtual Assistant services can do for them, we’ve been able to help even more business owners, brands and companies grow.
And here’s the thing.

Growth for our clients.
We are providing them with the Virtual Assistant services and support they need to alleviate their day-to-day problems, focus on their specialities, and develop their business. Our clients trust Alchemy and invest with us personally, financially, and professionally because they KNOW they are safe with us.
We are established and versed in all aspects of business and make our own investments to know what business owners need and how to do it. And we are having more clients than ever come to us for help, having had a poor experience elsewhere and being let down due to low-cost-low-output, the challenging economic climate, ghosting, and poor practice overall.
Quick festive tip - especially for SMEs - quality investment is critical to success. Buy cheap, and be prepared to buy twice.
Growth for our virtual assistant franchisees.
Working collaboratively and as a family is not a wishy-washy eye-roll of a sentiment for us. Instead, it’s day-in-day-out support, attributable resources and real-time learning that means our franchise businesses can grow and develop their clients. And do so with the highest-quality services, personalisation and commitment - with no detriment to their own personal, financial, and professional freedoms.
Burn-out and soul-selling are not the Alchemy VA way, and we are proving it time and again, year after year.
We say it all the time, but family is pivotal to Alchemy. Our business family, yes, but the families impacted by our business too. The time, financial, and positive benefits to mental health that our franchise frameworks have afforded our franchisees, without permission or guilt, are priceless. And the families and friends of our clients, who the latter often says to us get to see them more, make that concert, say yes to that golf game and dinner out - they too feel the benefits of our services, and that makes us incredibly proud and happy to be able to support that.
So what’s next?
Firstly, we celebrate!
We can't wait to bring the Alchemy VA franchise family together in the new year for a Micheline-star private dining experience, celebrating our people and giving unending thanks to them for all their extraordinary contributions and outstanding achievements in 2022.
Then, we move - figuratively.
