Magda lives in Hackney, East London with her twin boys Elias and Mateo, husband Alex and Lola the cat. When she's not creating more time and headspace for her clients she can be found running, cycling, exploring outdoors or organising social gatherings with friends and family. Magda also loves to practice yoga, read and listen to music. Magda is also a keen traveller and used to go backpacking a lot before having children.

Snapshot Career History:
Magda holds a BA and MA degree in Politics and International Relations. Her first real job was as a Scout Leader being responsible for a large group of teenagers at camp! Magda arrived in London from Poland in her early 20s with £100 which her parents had given her with the challenge of making more or returning home to live with them.
Magda started off working in bars and restaurants before she landed her first job in The City, where she stayed for several years working for publishing and corporate conferences. She has since gone on to build a happy life in London. Her vast and varied career has given her over 15 years’ experience in building and managing successful teams in both corporate and not for profit sectors.
Her past roles have involved market research, marketing and sales support, data analytics, event coordination and team management.
Magda has spent over a decade applying her skills into the not-for-profit sector for leading UK cancer charity Macmillan Cancer Support where she worked in different management roles such as leading their Customer Care team, project management, supplier management and product development.
Before joining the Alchemy VA family Magda spent over seven years working for a major international development charity, Action Aid, heading up their Customer Relations team where she was responsible for delivering the highest quality customer experience and communications to donors and members of the public.
Magda considers coming both to a big city and a foreign country alone in her early 20s and going on to build a happy life in London as the biggest challenge she's overcome. She adores seafood and Asian cuisine, particularly anything with coconut milk or peanuts and almonds. Among her friends, Magda is known as a true 'outdoorsy type' but very few realise that it's only if the weather is dry and hiking, camping or in fact doing anything outside when it’s wet, windy puts her in a really grumpy mood!
She has worked at a GP practice as a Polish to English interpreter for patients and doctors as well as providing some interpretation services for social services. In 2012, Magda volunteered at the London Olympics managing event services as a Team Leader. She was responsible for training and managing event services teams at Artistic Gymnastics and Basketball competitions and for providing a positive experience to spectators, athletes and other VIPs!
Magda believes that we’re all prisoners of our own fear and it is down to us to release ourselves.
