If you missed the UK Virtual Assistant Conference then you MISSED OUT!

Virtual Assistants from across the country descended on Bournemouth this October for the UK VA Conference 2024 and what an incredible event it was!

It’s not often you’ll find a conference room filled with people who could easily be labelled as ‘competitors’. But the warmth, positivity, commitment, passion and support in the room was instant, vibrant and very tangible.

This was the third annual conference and awards ceremony organised by Virtual Assistant industry veteran Amanda Johnson

It was my first time at the conference and I’m immensely grateful to have been invited to take to the stage to speak to the 100+ new and established Virtual Assistants in attendance about my all time favourite topic - purpose and how that plays out for us in our Virtual Assistant businesses.

The day was themed around ‘being awesome’ and was filled with remarkable sessions, by talented subject matter experts covering both the mindset and practical sides to growing a successful Virtual Assistant business.

The goddess that is Judy Salmon shone a light on the truly important and valuable work Virtual Assistants do and shared so much wisdom and insights into how we can all get much more comfortable with being PROUD about who we are and what we do.

Skilled business consultant Kate Kurdzeij shared her vast experiences working with serviced based businesses, eloquently tackling the tricky issues of boundaries in business.

Group Head of AI at Intergage Group, Luke Willams delivered some equally enlightening and terrifying updates around ethics, security and transparency challenges as well as the opportunities AI presents to savvy Virtual Assistants. What a joy it was to hear a brilliant, technically minded human speak about a hugely complex topic so clearly and concisely.
After the conference, the glitzy award evening commenced…

The relaxed yet buzzing champagne reception preceded an exquisite meal and free flowing wine, before the annual celebration of some of the finest Virtual Assistants the UK has to offer!

Huge congratulations to all the incredible finalists and award winners - it was an inspiring occasion to say the least.

If you missed the UK Virtual Assistant Conference this year, then you definitely MISSED OUT!

See you next year!?
