Alchemy VA celebrates 10 years of values-led franchising and sustainable growth
We are celebrating our 10-year anniversary in October 2026, marking a decade of steady, values-driven expansion in the virtual assistant space.
Founded in 2016 by Suzy Sanders, Alchemy VA has evolved from a solo venture into a thriving franchise network with a growing national footprint. Since we launched our Virtual Assistant franchise model in late 2019, the business has prioritised sustainable growth over rapid scale, building a network of carefully selected partners across the UK.
Two of our earliest franchise partners - Sarah Damani and Laura Barley have recently been recognised as Founding Franchise Partners, to acknowledge their commitment and contributions to helping shape Alchemy VA into what it is today.
“We could have grown much faster." says Suzy, "But for us, success has always meant building the right network, one that supports our clients, empowers our partners, and stands the test of time.”
Alchemy Virtual Assistance is rooted in a clear mission: to ensure no one has to choose between building a successful career and prioritising family life. This ethos shapes everything from recruitment to training and ongoing support.
Despite ongoing shifts in the business and employment landscape, including increased automation and redundancy trends, we have continued to witness strong demand for fractional, flexible support models from SME's across the UK.
In 2025 alone our trusted client base grew by 12% and our remarkable people delivered over 12,000 hours of support to clients (equivalent to 500 working days).
To mark our 10-year milestone, together with our Franchise Partners, we have launched a nationwide giving-back campaign, encouraging every Alchemy VA Franchise Partners to support a local charity or community initiative.
Activities will run throughout 2026 and into 2027 and include:
• Fundraising challenges, including a 42km “Giant Walk” in Warrington
• A big quiz event in aid of the East Midlands Air Ambulance
• Donating our Virtual Assistant support to charities
• Our Founder Suzy Abseiling the Northampton Lift Tower for The Lewis Foundation
With our strong UK foundation, our long-term ambition is to expand internationally over the next decade while maintaining our hallmark approach of measured, values-led growth.
