Lorraine Lewis is co-founder of multi award-winning cancer charity The Lewis Foundation, which provides free gifts and support to adult cancer patients in 14 hospitals around the Midlands. The charity also extends this service into the community via “The Lewis Foundation Pamper Days”, which is a series of events throughout the year enabling patients to take time out for themselves to learn tools & techniques to address their physical and mental wellbeing.
Lorraine is also a Lawyer, working for Crown Prosecution Service. This is a role Lorraine balances around her charity work.
Since starting The Lewis Foundation in 2016, Lorraine has regularly delivered motivational talks to school children, universities and businesses, such as Eden Project, RCI Europe, Kindfest and Demontfort University Global Alumni. Lorraine has also featured in the media such as The Sun, Hello and Channel 4 News talking about the journey of The Lewis Foundation to become the charity it is today.
In 2020, Lorraine received the Prime Minister’s Point of Light Award, British Citizen Award and was named on The Independent Newspaper Happy List 2020 for her positive impact and drive to make a difference to those going through their cancer journey.
